Was at the hospital at around 9pm,reached home around 1am, with the boy feeling slightly better.
Chad complained of hunger so his parents got him some noodles soup.But things worsen for him after his meal, and even though he managed to fall asleep after a while, he woke up constantly due to his abdominal pain.
After a few hours rest,i was awaken by him crying in pain and asking us to bring him back to the hospital again.
It’s so heart breaking to see him in this condition and I can only try my very best to comfort him.
Back at the hospital,the doctor ( the same one who attended to him) was surprised to see Chad and after accessing his condition, decides that more tests need to be done, and he was kept for observation.
After staying at the hospital for about half a day, he was finally allowed to go home. There’s nothing much the doctor can tell us, except that it’s a viral infection.
Well as long as the boy is feeling better,that’s all that matters. Hoping that he can make a full recovery soon.

Sent Chad to Tekong this morning,for the start of 2 years of his National Service.No more seeing him every single day,but it will be an enriching experience for him.

Okay,i think i really have sit down and do this.Been awhile since i blogged properly.

Celebration for Chad’s Birthday was great!Decided to stay at Resort World Sentosa for 3 days 2 nights,with day passes for Universal Studios Singapore and also tickets to Voyage de la Vie.

Went on almost all the rides besides the boring ones and the freaking spinning teacups because i get motion sickness real easily.I even tried Battlestar Galactica roller coasters!Chad used to work at USS so while im freaking out on the roller coasters hes just sitting beside me watching me scream! It was a really awesome experience and we cant wait to go back to USS and go on the rides again.

We stayed at Festive Hotel and because we took up their package,we got the Deluxe Family Room;

Showered and we went to watch Voyage de la Vie,honestly,both of us arent too excited about this much talked about Circus Theatre Spectacular but it totally blew us away with their pulsating music,vibrant colors and energy.Its filled with death defying acts and we definitely enjoyed it.

The next day was spent doing some window shopping and dessert at Vivo;

Ice cream and brownie at Haagen Dazs

Unknowingly,Chad had made reservations at a restaurant and he brought me to KU de TA at Skypark,Marina Bay Sands for a surprise dinner.

The ambiance was good and the servers are pretty helpful and friendly.We had ;

Citrus and soya-cured duck breast

Foie gras with green pickled mango and glazed scallops

Its my first time having foie gras and i didnt have much of it,its definitely an acquired taste,haha! Glad i tried it anyway,very buttery with a strong after taste that lingers in my mouth.

Then we had the bamboo roaster black cod and honey miso lamb sirloin which Chad and I are extremely thrilled with:

He raves about them days after the meal.

Lastly,we had their in house made ice cream to finish of dinner.

Ending the lovely night with stunning views from the Skypark.
